![]() Whats weird about this to me is in some dialogue, I think its Mariah who mentions seeing the same sort of nightmares MC has that takes them over. The person wants to drown Likho, jumps into a river, drowns himself, but Likho floats out, to chase other victims." If MC isn't just super super old, the Likho was passed onto them, and they may be sharing memories of past victims. MC has dreams that resemble some of the folklore beings posted on Cooking Companions social media beforehand, such as the Likho: " an embodiment of evil fate and misfortune in Slavic mythology, a creature with one eye, often depicted as an old, skinny woman in black" (resembling MC's first dream?) It also furthers into the common ways someone meets or gains a Likho, entailing "Likho cheats a person and rides on his neck. Their guilt and inability to face themselves and let go keeps their victims trapped in a cycle with them, until MC allows them to move on. TL DR- It seems like MC has been controlled by a Likho, who keeps them alive and possesses them to feed, It seems like MC remembers memories that might not be their own, such as drowning and passing the Likho on- since its kind of confirmed MC cant die? Or is being kept alive by the spirit- (loooong seeming life span, comments on their age through arthritis, "being hard to kill" according to potato, and the letter dates all kind of lead me to that conclusion. I assume they're all addresses/ about MC since there's a lot that implies it's their past they refuse to remember. What got my attention the most was the letters dated to MC. Going through the game so many times, there were a lot of cool things I noticed over time. I'd love to hear input on anything if I wrote something wrong, or even just additional theories! I know the game is brand new so I'm really excited to see how public take on it changes as time goes on. May Allaah bless our Prophet Muhammad and his family and companions and grant them peace. After admittedly too long playing this game I am really eager to hear people's take on the lore. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said to him: “Where were you, O Abu Hurayrah?” He said, “I was junub and I did not want to sit with you when I was not taahir (pure).” The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Subhaan Allaah, a Muslim does not become naajis.”Īnd Allaah is the Source of strength. It was reported in a saheeh hadeeth that Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) was with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) one day then he withdrew from him, then he came back. Yes, it is permissible for a person – whether a man or a woman – who is junub to touch things such as clothes, plates, pots, etc., before doing ghusl, because this person is not naajis and does not make the things he or she touches naajis. The text of their response is as follows:Īlone, and blessings and peace be upon His Messenger and his family and companions. Shaykh al-Shuqairi (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: among these false ideas is the notion that if a woman who is junub kneads dough, it become corrupt because of her janaabah, and that the barakah (blessing) will vanish from everything her hand touches.Ī similar question was submitted to al-Lajnah al-Daa’imah wa’l-Buhooth This false belief is based on false and fabricated ahaadeeth that have been narrated on this topic. The claim that some people make, that it is haraam for a woman who is junub to touch things and to do certain things, is all innovated (bid’ah) and false ideas which have no basis in Islam. It is sufficient for her to do wudoo’, to reduce the janaabah and so that the angels will come near her. ![]() If a woman is busy and it is not easy for her to do ghusl from janaabah straight after intercourse, this does not affect her and she is not naajis. (because this is frivolous and foolish behaviour, and is an imitation of women – Qayd al-Qadeer, 3/325), and a person who is junub, until he does ghusl.” (Narrated by Abu Dawood, 4180 classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh Abi Dawood, 3522). ![]() The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “There are three things which the angels do not approach: the dead body of a kaafir, a man who has perfumed himself with saffron But it is recommended for the Muslim to hasten to do ghusl so that he will always be in a state of tahaarah, as is the Sunnah, and because the angels do not come near a person who is junub. There is no harm in delaying ghusl until the time for the next prayer comes, so long as the prayer before it has been performed in a state of tahaarah. It has to do with the performance of prayers and other acts of worship where tahaarah (purity) is required. There is no set time limit within which a woman who is junub has to do ghusl. ![]()
